Just over a month ago I participated in a four-day personal growth course that had a huge positive impact on my life. Because I found it so valuable, I wanted to share a bit about my experience with everyone here so that others can benefit as well (note, I’m not getting paid to say this!).
It’s called Lifebook and the purpose of the program is to define, in detail, exactly what you want your life to be in every important area. My Lifebook session took place in a very upscale, private lounge located in San Diego (they also have a Lifebook lounge in Chicago) with ten other individuals and our two great facilitators, Melissa and Carleigh. It was a long four days and yes, by the end I was very tired, but amazingly motivated and excited about my life.
About my group. I expected most of us to be from San Diego but was pleasantly surprised to find out that half the group had flown in from other parts of the country. Although we all ranged in age, had different interests and were at unique stages in our lives, we did have one thing in common - We were all interested in taking our lives to the next level and creating an exceptionally great life.
After having gone through Lifebook, I now feel like I also have a support group of people I can go to for advice, support and inspiration (some of us locally are starting to meet monthly, and I enjoy emailing and receiving emails from our entire group). They are all amazing people and I am lucky to have shared this experience with them.
How it works. I won’t go into too much detail except to say that over the four days I had the opportunity to look at 12 different areas of my life and really determine what I wanted my life to be like in each of these areas, why, and how I could make it a reality. For me it was sometimes emotional, but always uplifting, and I learned more about myself than I knew possible.
How Lifebook is unique. There are a lot of great personal growth courses out there that help thousands of people. What made this experience special for me was the fact that our group was very small (only 11 of us) and I had four days to do nothing but focus on myself and what I want my ideal life to be like. What a luxury!
The best part is that I left with my own personal Lifebook. It’s a leather bound notebook that includes my detailed plan to create a balanced, ideal life. It is also filled with personal photos and inspirational quotes. I think of it as a blueprint for my life or a vision board multiplied by a hundred.
The results. I’ve always been a positive, goal-oriented person, but I can truly say that I am now in one of the happiest stages of my life and feel that I’m the closest I’ve ever come to being the person I’ve always wanted to be (and I know who that person is now). I clearly know what I want, and with that comes a real sense of inner peace. Each morning I get up and read a bit of my Lifebook, take some notes, review what I’ve accomplished, and each day I get closer to making my vision a reality. The Law of Attraction definitely comes into play here and as I succeed in one area of my life, I see it filter into all the other areas as well.

Tiina,
I too attended Lifebook.
Do you mind if I use a similar version of your testimonial to promote Lifebook to my friends and family?

Tina,
The owners of Lifebook liked your testimonial and they asked if they can use it as a sample?
