About Me

Experience is not what happens to you. It’s what you do with what happens to you. -Aldous Huxley

Life Balanced is about living a fulfilling, happy and healthy life in as many areas as possible.

My name is Tina and I started this blog after returning from an amazing two week vacation in Thailand over the summer of 2007. I love to travel and often return from these trips with a new outlook on life and grand plans to be a better me.

But like many, it is so easy to fall back into the same old routine and I didn’t want to lose my motivation. My hope is that by writing down my observations and learnings as they relate to personal growth, I will stay committed in my journey to live a balanced life - and if I can, help a few others along the way.

My audience is primarily my mom, dad, sister and a few close friends. If you see anything you like, please post a comment. I’d love to hear from you!

Some of my favorite things: my nephew, traveling to new places, living by the beach, laughing aloud, Italian food, The Office

    Hi Tina,
I am a New Zealander. I lived in Japan for about 5 years and while I was over there read an interesting book called “Confucious lives next door.” I think you’d enjoy it - just read some of your comments and think it would be right down your alley.

    Happy Xmas !

    Hey Tina!

I enjoyed your post about Lifebook Lounge. I came across an article about it a few months ago and just started researching it. Right now I’m in the Marine Corps traveling around the world and wanted to check it out when I treturn to San Diego in May. Thanks for sharing your experience!
